About Zazzle Contests

WooHoo! The contest program (beta!) on Zazzle is now up and running. We’ve heard your requests for some fun and exciting contests on Zazzle and now it’s here! We are going to be trying out a number of different ideas with the contest program and some will work great, others will be a little more risky … the bottom line is that we want to learn from you, our users, and make sure that contests are an exciting, fun and rewarding part of your Zazzle experience!

The main goal of the contest program is to get you excited and involved in showcasing great products on Zazzle … and a sweet prize like CS3 or $1,000 + doesn’t hurt either ;) We’re going to be having many contests in the future, some at the same time, some lasting longer than others and we’re going to be trying different prizes. Please send us any suggestions or feedback you might have on contest theme or prize … we’re listening!

Contest Rules:

  1. You may only submit one entry per contest
  2. Entering a contest is done by tagging your product with a specific contest related keyword (or “tag”). If you don’t know how to do this, please read the instructions below. You should also leave a comment under the contest announcement with a link to your product to give it more visibility.
  3. Be sure to read the contest announcement for any additional details on how to enter, how the judging process works, where to view the entries, etc. In addition, if you love legal jargon, you can always read the Official Contest Rules.
How to tag your product:Once you have created your product in the Zazzle design tool, you need to click the “publish” button which is located in the lower right hand corner of the page.

The next page you see will have the title “Publish It”. In the lower left hand corner of the page, you will notice a section title “Tags”. You can use tags to describe your product so it is easier to find in the Zazzle marketplace. To enter a contest, simply add the contest tag (available on the contest announcement post at http://contests.zazzle.com) to the text box. That’s it!
